FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHEN DO I NEED TO REGISTER BY? We would like to have all registrations in by Oct. 9th, so we can make the necessary arrangements for planning. However we will accept registrations up until the event date.
DO I HAVE TO RUN? NO absolutely not, walking is definitely welcomed. The idea of the event is to get out and exercise AND support our school in an effort to raise money for the playground.
DO I HAVE TO ACCOMPANY MY CHILD? YES, we would like an adult to accompany their child for safety reasons.
WHO GETS T-SHIRTS? Every person that registers and pays the $25 registrant fee will be provided with a t-shirt. However, if you are accompanying a registered child you DO NOT need to register as well; although we urge everyone to register and participate. After the race we will be selling t-shirts for those interested in purchasing one.
CAN I RIDE MY BIKE? NO, only strollers and wheelchairs will be allowed in the run/walk.
We are always looking for volunteers to make these events successful!!!
THE YMCA HAS PROVIDED SOME FAMILY FUN AFTERWARDS. THERE WILL BE A MOONBOUNCE TO FOLLOW THE WALK. AS WELL AS FREE REFRESHMENTS FOR REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS.
